Home to one of America's premier Scout Camps with an extensive summer program, Curtis S. Read Scout Reservation also offers many opportunities for Fall-Spring camping in the southern Adirondacks.  The Reservation's 1,200 acres bordering on the Pharoah Wilderness Area offer plenty of tent camping locations as well as two fully-equipped indoor facilities: the Log Cabin and the New Farmhouse.  Nearby attractions include Lake George, Gore Mountain, Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain as well as day trip opportunities into the Adirondacks.
